View your website passwords and related info on Mac
You can view and manage the passwords for your website accounts.
View your password for a website account
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Passwords .
Unlock your passwords.
Select a website on the left.
Place the pointer over the series of dots next to Password on the right.
Add notes to a website account
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Passwords .
Unlock your passwords.
Select a website on the left.
Click Edit.
Enter details about the account, such as your answers to security questions, in the Notes field.
Click Save.
Change a weak or compromised password
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Passwords .
Unlock your passwords.
Select a website on the left, below Security Recommendations.
Click Change Password on Website.
Hide a password security recommendation
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Passwords .
Unlock your passwords.
Select a website on the left, below Security Recommendations.
Click the Close button in the top-right corner of the window, then click Hide.
The recommendation appears below Hidden Security Recommendations in the list of websites.
