Compare edited and saved Smart Control settings in GarageBand on Mac

While you’re working with a Smart Control, you may want to compare your edits to the saved settings to hear how your changes affect the sound. The Compare function only compares changes to settings to which screen controls are mapped.

Compare your edits to the saved Smart Control settings

In GarageBand on Mac, click the Compare button in the Smart Controls menu bar.
To return to the edited version, click the Compare button again.
