Edit or delete a playlist in Apple Music Classical
After you create a playlist in Apple Music Classical, you can rename it, reorder and remove items, or delete it.

Edit a classical playlist in the app
If you have the Apple Music Classical app on your device, you can remove music from a playlist, reorder items, and rename the playlist.
Go to the Apple Music Classical app
on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
Do one of the following:
On iPhone: Tap Library, tap Playlists, tap a playlist you created, then tap
.
On iPad: Tap a playlist you created, then tap
. (You may need to tap
to display Playlists in the sidebar.)
On Android: Tap Library, tap Playlists, tap a playlist you created, then tap
.
Tap Edit.
Note: If you see a message that the playlist contains non-classical tracks, tap Open Apple Music. In the Apple Music app
, tap Library, tap Playlists, then select the playlist you want to edit.
Do any of the following:
Remove music: Tap
next to the item you want to remove. You may need to tap Delete to confirm.
Reorder items: Touch and hold
next to the item you want to move, then drag the item up or down in the list.
Rename the playlist: Tap the current name of the playlist, then enter a new name.
Tap Done.
Delete a classical playlist in the app
Go to the Apple Music Classical app
Do one of the following:
On iPhone: Tap Library, tap Playlists, tap the playlist you want to remove, then tap
On iPad: Tap the playlist you want to remove, then tap
On Android: Tap Library, tap Playlists, tap the playlist you want to remove, then tap
Tap Delete from Library, then tap Delete from Library.
Edit a classical playlist on the web
If you listen to Apple Music Classical on the web, you can rename a playlist and remove music from it, but you can’t reorder items.
Go to classical.music.apple.com
Select a playlist in the sidebar, then do any of the following:
Rename the playlist: Select
on the right, select Edit, then enter a new name.
Remove music: Select
for a track, then choose Remove from Playlist.
Delete a classical playlist on the web
Go to classical.music.apple.com
Select a playlist in the sidebar, select
Note: Deleting a playlist doesn’t remove any music from that playlist that you added separately to your library.
