Rules preferences
Use Rules preferences in Mail to add, change, copy, and delete rules to manage incoming messages.
To view these preferences, choose Mail > Preferences, then click Rules.
Rules list | Available rules are listed. When a rule’s checkbox is selected, the rule is being applied to your messages. To keep a rule but not use it, deselect its checkbox. Rules are applied in the order in which they appear in the list; drag a rule up or down to change the order. |

Edit | Change a rule. |
Duplicate | Copy a rule so that you can edit it to create a new rule. |
Remove | Delete a rule. |
If you use iCloud Drive, your rules are available on your other Mac computers that have iCloud Drive turned on. Files attached to rules, such as sound files or scripts, aren’t available. For more information, see Store your desktop and documents in iCloud.
