Use the Shazam app or Shazam Music Recognition when you’re offline
On iPhone, iPad, or an Android device, you can use the Shazam app to identify a song when you’re offline (not connected to the internet). When you’re back online, the app remembers the request, identifies the song (if it’s available in the Shazam music catalog), then adds it to your Shazam app library. On iPhone or iPad, you can also use Shazam Music Recognition in Control Center when you’re offline.
To receive a notification about an identified song after you’re back online, do either of the following:
After using the Shazam app when you’re offline on iPhone, iPad, or an Android device: Make sure Shazam app notifications are turned on.
After using Music Recognition in Control Center when you’re offline on iPhone: Make sure Music Recognition notifications are turned on.
Note: To add songs identified using Control Center to your Shazam library, make sure iCloud Sync is turned on in Shazam app settings.
