Control noise cancellation on iPhone
Noise cancellation reduces ambient background noise on phone calls when you’re holding the receiver to your ear.
Turn noise cancellation on or off
Go to Settings 
> General > Accessibility.
Turn Phone Noise Cancellation on or off.
