Delete assessments in Schoolwork
If you no longer want an assessment or any of the Markup actions, scores, or analytics, you can delete it. Deleting an assessment permanently deletes the assessment file. All work is also deleted and no longer available for students. When you delete an assessment, you can’t undo it.
Note: If you no longer want a class, but want to save the assessments in the class, you can remove the class. When you remove a class, Schoolwork saves view-only copies of all the original assessment files along with Markup actions, instructions, and analytic data in a class archive. Schoolwork does not save any student information or scores.
Delete an assessment
In the Schoolwork app
, tap Recent Activity, Assessments, a class, or a class archive in Archived in the sidebar.Touch and hold the assessment you want to delete, then tap Delete.
Note: When you delete an active assessment, the assessment, Markup actions, scores, analytics, and all student work are removed and no longer available in Schoolwork for you or your students. To allow recipients to keep files, return work before deleting it.
