Import into Final Cut Pro for iPad from Image Playground

In Final Cut Pro for iPad, use Image Playground and Apple Intelligence to create stylized images in seconds by combining text descriptions and people from your photo library.

Note: Apple Intelligence on iPadOS 26 or later is available on an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPad mini (A17 Pro) and iPad models with M1 or later. Apple Intelligence is not available in all languages or regions. Usage limits may apply.*

Go to the Final Cut Pro app on your iPad.
Open a project, tap in the toolbar, then tap Image Playground.
To create an image, see Create original images with Image Playground in the iPad User Guide.
The generated image is imported into the browser as a 1024 x 1024 HEIC file, which you can use in your projects like any other still image.
