How to put on Apple Vision Pro
Apple Vision Pro (M5) comes with a Dual Knit Band, and Apple Vision Pro (M2) included the Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band. All three bands can also be purchased separately, and you can experiment with different bands to help find the right fit. If you'd like to use a different band, learn how to remove or attach a Vision Pro head band.
Put on your Apple Vision Pro with the Dual Knit Band
To reduce the risk of injury, remove facial jewelry like nose rings or eyebrow rings before you put on Vision Pro, and don’t use Vision Pro if you have an injury on your nose, face, or head.
Use one hand to hold your device by the frame and hold the Dual Knit Band with the other. Avoid picking up Vision Pro via the Light Seal, Audio Straps, or power cable.
Place the device near your face and slide the lower strap over the back of your head so that the lower strap sits low on your head, just above your neck. With certain hairstyles, you might find it easier to position the head band before pulling the device down over your eyes.
When you have the device on, adjust the Dual Knit Band's lower strap by turning the Fit Dial clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. Then adjust the upper strap by pulling the Fit Dial out and turning it clockwise or counterclockwise. Vision Pro should feel snug but not too tight.
If your head band is too tight, it could cause skin sensitivity, general discomfort, or marks and indentions on your face. Some temporary, light markings are expected after general usage.
If your head band isn’t tight enough or isn’t properly positioned, you might see a message that says that the device is positioned too high or too low. Adjust the device accordingly.
Put on your Apple Vision Pro with the Solo Knit Band

Put on Apple Vision Pro with the Dual Loop Band
To reduce the risk of injury, remove facial jewelry like nose rings or eyebrow rings before you put on Vision Pro, and don’t use Vision Pro if you have an injury on your nose, face, or head.
Use one hand to hold your device by the frame and hold the lower strap of the Dual Loop Band with the other. Avoid picking up Vision Pro via the Light Seal, Audio Straps, or power cable.
Place the device near your face and slide the Dual Loop Band over the back of your head.
Hold Vision Pro to your face with one hand, with even support on your forehead and cheeks.
While continuing to hold Vision Pro to your face, with the other hand, tighten the lower strap first, then tighten the upper strap. Vision Pro should feel snug but not too tight.

How to take off Apple Vision Pro
Loosen the head band before removing. For the Dual Knit Band and Solo Knit Band, you can do this by turning the Fit Dial counterclockwise. For the Dual Loop Band, pull the tab on the lower strap away from your head so it loosens.
Remove the device by holding the frame — not the Light Seal, Head Band, Audio Straps, or power cable.
When you set down your device, avoid placing the cover glass face-down onto hard surfaces, like a table or countertop. Place the battery near Vision Pro when you’re not using it to protect the power cable from being caught on other objects.
When you're done using Vision Pro, put the cover on.
How to adjust Apple Vision Pro for a precise fit
When you’re wearing Apple Vision Pro, you should feel balanced support across your cheeks and forehead. The device should feel snug, but not too tight.
Adjust the Dual Knit Band
If the lower strap feels too tight, rotate the Fit Dial counterclockwise and pull the device by the frame away from your face.
For an ideal fit, you want even support between your forehead and cheeks. If it’s uneven, then:
To relieve pressure on your forehead, raise the Dual Knit Band by pulling the lower strap slightly up on the back of your head.
To relieve pressure on your cheeks, lower the Dual Knit Band by pulling the lower strap slightly down on the back of your head.
You can also relieve pressure on your cheeks by pulling the Fit Dial out, then rotating it to adjust the upper strap.
To relieve pressure across the bridge of your nose, try switching to the Light Seal Cushion marked with a “+” found in your box packaging, or consider trying a different band.
If you feel tugging on your hair, check that it isn’t caught in the head band or the power cable.
If your eyelashes brush against your Vision Pro or you receive a notification that your eyes are too close to the displays, try switching to the Light Seal Cushion marked with a “+” found in your box packaging. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, you might need a different size Light Seal.
If you get a notification that your eyes are too far from the displays, try switching to the thinner Light Seal Cushion that came with your Vision Pro. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, you might need a different size Light Seal.

Adjust the Dual Loop Band
If the head band feels too tight, while holding Vision Pro to your face with one hand, loosen the upper and lower straps of the Dual Loop Band with the other hand by undoing and redoing the hook and loop closures. Pull the device by the frame away from your face.
