Fill a layer with a color or gradient in Pixelmator Pro on iPad
The Fill layer style fills the area of a selected layer with a color or gradient.
In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, select a layer in the Layers sidebar.
Select
in the Tools sidebar.
In the Style pane, turn on Fill.
In the Fill section, choose a fill type:
Color: Adds a solid color fill. Tap the color well and choose a color.
Gradient: Adds a gradient fill. Tap the Preset pop-up menu and choose a swatch. To customize the gradient, adjust the color stops in the gradient fill bar.
Pattern: Adds a pattern fill based on a source file. To change the default source file, tap Choose, then import an image.
To adjust how the fill blends with content below it, do any of the following:
Drag the opacity slider to adjust fill transparency.
Tap the Opacity pop-up menu, then choose a blend mode.
