Use your Beats 360
When you’re wearing your Beats 360 headphones, you can use controls to play, pause, adjust volume, answer phone calls, switch between noise cancellation and transparency modes, use Siri, and more.
Charge Beats 360
Check Beats 360 status with status light
The status light on the power button indicates pairing and battery status:
Flashing white: Your Beats 360 are in pairing mode and ready to connect.
Steady white: The battery is charged.
Pulsing red: Your headphones are charging.
Steady red: The battery is low—less than 10 percent.
Three red flashes, then off: The battery is too low to turn on. Connect your headphones to a power outlet using a USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter, then charge the headphones for at least 5 minutes.
Turn Beats 360 on or off
Press and hold the Power button on the left earcup for 1 second.
Pair Beats 360 with your Apple or Android device
See Pair Beats.
Play audio on Beats 360
Wear your Beats 360, and make sure they’re connected to your Apple or Android device.
Go to an audio app, then play something—for example, a song in the Music app
or an episode in the Podcasts app

Do any of the following on the right earcup:
Play and pause audio: Press the play/pause button. To resume playback, press it again.
Play the next track: Double-press the play/pause button.
Play the previous track: Triple-press the play/pause button.
Change the volume on Beats 360
Press (or press and hold) the volume rocker on the right earcup to do any of the following:
Increase the volume: Press (or press and hold) the upper portion of the button.
Decrease the volume: Press (or press and hold) the lower portion of the button.
Switch between listening modes on Beats 360
Press the Listening mode button to switch between the following modes:
Active Noise Cancellation: Blocks out external noise to help you focus.
Transparency Mode: Lets you hear the sounds around you.
Off: Turns off all listening modes.
When all listening modes are off, Adaptive EQ is enabled. Adaptive EQ scans your individual fit and seal and adjusts acoustic frequencies for clear, personally customized sound.
A tone plays when the listening mode changes.
On Beats 360, Off listening mode is not enabled by default. To cycle between Off, Transparency, and Noise Cancellation, do any of the following:
iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings
on your iPhone or iPad, tap the name of your Beats at the top of the screen, then select Off under Listening Mode.
Mac: Choose Apple menu
Android device: Go to the Beats app

Answer calls on Beats 360
Do any of the following on the right earcup:
Answer or end a call: When you receive a call, press the play/pause button.
End a call: Double-press the play/pause button.
Answer a second incoming call and put the first call on hold, or switch between two active calls: Press the play/pause button.
Decline an incoming call: Double-press the play/pause button.
Mute or unmute the microphone: During a call, press the play/pause button. To unmute, press it again.

Ask Siri on Beats 360
Set up Siri (if you haven’t already done so).
Do either of the following:
Say “Hey Siri.”
Press and hold the play/pause button on the right earcup.
When you hear a chime, make your request.
