Keep track of messages and conversations on Apple Vision Pro
In the Messages app, you can view message summaries, mark messages as unread, or pin and unpin conversations to prioritize messages in the Messages list.
Mark messages as unread
You can mark conversations as unread so you can return to them later when you have time to respond.
Go to the Messages app
on your Apple Vision Pro.In the Messages list, swipe right on a conversation to mark it as unread. Or pinch and drag right and tap
Tip: You can also mark several messages as unread at once. Tap Edit, tap Select Messages, select the conversations you want to mark as unread, then tap Unread in the bottom-left corner.
Pin a conversation
You can pin specific conversations to the top of the Messages list so the people you contact most always come first in the list.
Go to the Messages app
on your Apple Vision Pro.Swipe right on a conversation, then tap
To unpin, tap
Turn message summaries on or off
Apple Intelligence automatically summarizes the key points of your conversations, and the summaries appear under each unread conversation. You can turn off summaries if you want to see the most recent message in each conversation instead.
Note: Apple Intelligence on visionOS 27 is not available in all languages or regions.*
Go to the Settings app
on your Apple Vision Pro.Tap Apps, then tap Messages.
Turn Summarize Messages on or off.
To view message summaries, go to the Messages app
, then look under a conversation on the left side of the Messages window to see a summary of unread messages in that conversation.
