Turn on Picture in Picture viewing
On an iPhone, iPad, Android device, Mac, or Windows computer, you can continue to watch Apple TV movies and TV shows in a small viewer that runs in the foreground while you do other tasks.
Turn on Picture in Picture
During playback in the Apple TV app, do one of the following to show onscreen playback controls:
iPhone, iPad, or Android device: Tap the screen.
Mac or Windows computer: Move the pointer over the video.
Select
in the viewer.The viewer collapses into a small viewer. When you tap or click it, controls appear for Play, Pause, and skip backward or forward 10 seconds.
To move or resize it, drag the viewer to another corner of your screen. On a computer, you can also drag any edge of the viewer to resize it.
To restore the smaller viewer to full screen, do one of the following:
iPhone or iPad: Tap the viewer, then tap
.Android device: Tap the viewer, then tap
.Computer: Move the pointer over the viewer, then click
