View your progress in Schoolwork
When student progress is enabled and you use your school account to complete activities your teacher assigned in a Handout, all available progress data is shared with you and your teacher. When viewing your progress, you can see:
Overall progress on a Handout in the Handout detail view. This view displays your overall progress for activities in a Handout.
Total progress in a class in your student progress view. This view displays your progress for all Handout activities in a class, as well as the work you submitted.
Using the data in the Handout detail view and your student progress view, you can better understand how you’re doing with each activity and Handout, and decide if you need to reach out to your teacher for extra challenges or attention.
Note: Progress data doesn’t appear instantaneously. Schoolwork takes time to process data before displaying it in the Handout detail view and student progress view.
View your progress on a Handout
In the Schoolwork app
, tap a class in the dashboard.Do one of the following:
Tap a Handout in Due Next 7 Days, Due Later, or Completed or Closed Handouts.
Tap See All, then tap a Handout.
To see a specific activity or item, tap the activity or item.
Tap your progress data for an activity or item to see your progress data details for the activity or item, submitted before or after the due date.
View your progress in a class
In the Schoolwork app
, tap a class in the dashboard.In the upper right, tap

Do one or more of the following at the top of the student progress view, if applicable:
To view your remaining activities or items, tap Not Done.
To view your completed activities or items, tap Done.
To view work you submitted, tap Student Work.
To view your quiz data, tap Quizzes.
To see a specific activity or item, tap the activity or item.
Tap your progress data for an activity or item to see your progress data details for the activity or item, submitted before or after the due date.
View any late progress
When you submit work after a Handout due date (11:59 p.m. local time on the due date), Schoolwork displays the progress data but indicates the work was late.
In the Schoolwork app
, do one of the following in the dashboard:Tap a Handout in the Due Next 7 Days section.
Tap a class, then tap a Handout in the Due Next 7 Days section, the Due Later section, See All, or Completed or Closed Handouts.
Tap an activity to view the progress data reported after the due date.
Tap Late Data to view specific progress data details reported after the due date (available for progress-reporting apps only).
