source column

The source column is the basis for categorizing data in a table.

For example, if your company is tracking shirt sales and you want to organize the data by sales date, you would choose the Sales Date column as your source column, and your data would then be organized into groups based on the shared values in that column.

You can choose up to five source columns, resulting in one main category and up to four subcategories.
