If you can’t start up after resetting NVRAM or PRAM
If you have a Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) scheme set up, your Mac may not start up if you reset NVRAM or PRAM when you restart.
Press and hold the Option key while you restart your Mac.
When you see the prompt, select your startup disk.
After your Mac starts up, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Startup Disk, then select your startup disk.
