Share your location with your friends on iCloud.com
You can start and stop sharing your location at any time on iCloud.com.
Note: If you set up restrictions for the Find My (or Find My Friends) app on your device, you cannot turn off Share My Location or disable Location Services. See the Apple Support article Use parental controls on your child’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch for information about how to change content and privacy restrictions.
Share your location with friends using an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac
You can’t share your location with specific friends on iCloud.com. You must use the Find My (or Find My Friends) app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
iOS 13 or iPadOS: See “Share your location in Find My” in the user guide for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
iOS 12 or earlier: See the Apple Support article Set up and use Find My Friends.
On a Mac (macOS Catalina 10.15): See the Find My User Guide for Mac.
Start and stop sharing your location
In Find My Friends on iCloud.com, tap Me, then do any of the following:
Share your location: Select the Share My Location checkbox.
Stop sharing your location: Deselect the Share My Location checkbox.
Location Not Available appears below your name in the Find My (or Find My Friends) app on your followers’ devices, as if your device is turned off, in airplane mode, or just offline.
Tap Done.
