Find the location of your friends on iCloud.com
After you ask friends to share their locations and they accept, you can see their locations on a map on iCloud.com.
Ask to follow friends using an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac
You can’t ask to follow a friend on iCloud.com. You must use the Find My (or Find My Friends) app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
See nearby friends
In Find My Friends on iCloud.com, tap Nearby Friends to see friends that are currently near your location.
In the Friends list, location information appears below friends who are signed in. The distance between you and your friends is also displayed (if your device can be located).
On the map, your friends are represented by orange dots with their initials or profile pictures. Your location appears as a blue dot . The shadows around the dots indicate the location’s accuracy (the smaller the shadow the better).
See a friend’s location
In Find My Friends on iCloud.com, tap a friend, then do any of the following:
Move the map: Swipe.
Zoom in: Double-tap with one finger (or pinch open).
Zoom out: Tap with two fingers (or pinch closed)
Change distance units
You can see distances on a map in miles or kilometers.
In Find My Friends on iCloud.com, tap Me.
In the Distances section, choose In Miles or In Kilometers in the pop-up menu, then tap Done.
