Enter Chinese punctuation and special characters on Mac
You can enter punctuation or special characters by using the punctuation window or the Character Viewer. To open the punctuation window, press Option-Shift-B.
On your Mac, click the Input menu in the menu bar, then choose Show Facemarks & Punctuation.
Click Recent (for recently used symbols), Symbols, or Facemarks, or press the Tab key to cycle through them.
To insert a symbol, do any of the following:
Use the arrow keys to navigate to the symbol, then press Return.
Press the number key for a symbol.
Double-click a symbol.
If you don’t see the symbol you want in the window, search for it in the Character Viewer (to open the Character Viewer, click the Input menu in the menu bar, then choose Show Emoji & Symbols).
