Reset a verification phone number in Apple Business Manager
All Apple Business Manager roles require a six-digit verification code along with their Managed Apple ID account password. This verification code, which is sent to a phone number associated with the account, enhances the security of Apple Business Manager.
Note: New verification codes are required every 30 days.
If the account owner changes phone numbers, you can reset the account to ask for a new phone number. Accounts that have identical privileges or lesser privileges can be reset only by you.
Reset a verification phone number
In Apple Business Manager
, tap Accounts in the sidebar.
Search for an account in the Search Accounts field, then select the account in the list.
Tap Reset Phone Number
, then tap Reset.
When the user signs in again, they are prompted to add a new phone number.
