Licensing in iTunes U
When you create a course or upload a material you own, iTunes U for web requires you to specify licensing and copyright information for the course and material. You can choose from one of six Creative Commons licenses or All Rights Reserved. See the Creative Commons website at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/.
The license you specify for a course covers information pages, outlines, and post and assignment text. A course license does not cover individual materials you add to your course. The license you specify for a material covers the individual material (for example, audio, video, book, document, or image files) you upload to your course, allowing you to specify a different license than the course. Materials you add to your course as an iTunes Store, App Store, or Apple Books product retain the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions located at https://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/ww/. Materials you add to your course as web links might contain licensing information and you are responsible for the copyrights applied to the information in the web link.
Note: Currently, licensing information is not visible outside of iTunes U.
