Use the Fleetsmith agent with Mac computers
The Fleetsmith agent on Mac computers can be used to send diagnostics to Fleetsmith. The agent can also be uninstalled.
When submitting a support ticket, you may be asked to submit diagnostics from a device.
On the Mac, click the Fleetsmith icon in the menu bar.
Click the gear icon, then click Send diagnostics.
Enter any notes you’d like to send to Support, then click Send.
Uninstall the agent
Sometimes a user may need to uninstall the Fleetsmith agent on their Mac. To accomplish this, the Fleetsmith agent uninstaller must be used. Running the uninstaller removes only the Fleetsmith agent from the device. Before running an uninstaller on a device, archive it in the Fleetsmith Admin Console. If the device is not archived first, it will still appear in the Fleetsmith Admin Console as an “Active” device until it is properly archived.
In the Fleetsmith Admin Console, click your name in the sidebar, then click Preferences.
Click Installers & URLS, then click Download Agent Uninstaller to download the Fleetsmith agent uninstaller.
Archive the Mac. See Archive a device.
Copy the Fleetsmith agent uninstaller to the Mac you want to uninstall, run it, then follow the prompts.
