Apple Configurator 2.3 is a recommended update for Apple Configurator 2. You can install it from the Updates pane of the Mac App Store. Apple Configurator 2.3 requires OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 and iTunes 12.5.1 or later, and it works with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 7 and later.

  • Keep saved searches consistent across Configurator stations signed into the same Apple ID

  • Erase unsupervised devices running iOS 9 or later

  • Set the current time zone while Preparing devices

  • Install the latest App Store app version while applying blueprints

  • Continue a command if some apps or profiles fail to install

  • Skip the iMessage & FaceTime Setup Assistant pane

  • Choose default app for audio calls for Contacts, Exchange, and Google accounts

  • Set Bluetooth modification restriction on supervised devices

  • Set new IKEv2 authentication method option or specify IPSec disconnect on idle timeout for VPN

  • Restrict fast lane QoS marking or disable captive network detection for Wi-Fi networks
