How do I get my Apple Watch fixed?
If you’re having issues with your Apple Watch, try restarting it first. You can also unpair your Apple Watch and then pair it again.

If these steps don’t fix the issue, you can send your Apple Watch to an Apple Repair Center. Contact us and we’ll give you shipping instructions. You can also have your Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store technician send it in for you. When you pick up your Apple Watch, we can give you the details on how it was serviced.
Be sure to unpair your Apple Watch and remove the Activation Lock before you send it in for service. After we receive your Apple Watch, we’ll repair or replace it as soon as possible. If you have an Apple Watch Edition, contact Apple or make an appointment at an Apple Store.

The Apple Limited Warranty covers your product against manufacturing defects beginning on the original purchase date, and the warranty period varies by model. The chart below shows your Apple Watch model’s warranty period. Our warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.

Can I buy additional coverage for my Apple Watch?
AppleCare+ gives you expert telephone support and additional hardware coverage beginning on the original purchase date, and the coverage period varies by model. The chart below shows your Apple Watch model’s additional coverage with AppleCare+.

AppleCare+ includes up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each with a service fee. You can buy AppleCare+ together with your Apple Watch or purchase it within 60 days of your Apple Watch purchase. Call us to check the condition of your Apple Watch and confirm your purchase date.
You might also have consumer law rights. Apple Limited Warranty and AppleCare+ benefits are in addition to your rights under consumer law.

Out-of-warranty service
Service is considered out of warranty when:
- Your Apple Watch is beyond the eligible warranty term
- Your Apple Watch has an issue that’s not covered under warranty or consumer law, like accidental damage or damage caused by unauthorized modifications
We might be able to fix or replace your Apple Watch for an out-of-warranty fee. Your replacement Apple Watch has factory settings and will be new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability. The Apple Limited Warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.

Battery service
If your battery has a manufacturing defect and it's covered by the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, we'll service your Apple Watch at no additional cost.
When your Apple Watch isn’t covered by warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law and we find that it holds only 80 percent or less of its original battery capacity, we offer out-of-warranty battery service.
We might need to test your product to find the cause of your battery issue. Our warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use.

Screen damage
If your Apple Watch screen breaks accidentally, you might have the option to replace your Apple Watch for an out-of-warranty fee. The Apple warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by accident or abuse. If your screen cracks due to a manufacturing defect, it’s covered by the Apple warranty and consumer law.
The cost to service an accidentally damaged screen depends on your Apple Watch model, any additional damage, and if you have AppleCare+ coverage.
AppleCare+ includes up to two incidents of accidental damage, each with a service fee. You can use each incident for screen damage. If you don’t have AppleCare+, the out-of-warranty fee might apply.

Apple accessories
Apple-branded accessories are covered by our warranty and consumer law. The accessories that come in the box with your product are also covered by AppleCare+. Before you bring in an Apple Watch Edition Magnetic Charging Case, take out and keep all the loose parts in the case. Contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service details.
We can help with returns or exchanges of third-party accessories that you bought from Apple. For service or support, contact the accessory manufacturer.

After service
When you receive your Apple Watch, set it up the same way you’d set up a new Apple Watch.
We guarantee our service, including replacement parts, for 90 days or the remaining term of your Apple warranty or AppleCare plan coverage, whichever is longer. We offer this when you get service from us or from an Apple Authorized Service Provider. This is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
Express Replacement Service
If you need to replace your Apple Watch immediately, our Express Replacement Service offers speedy delivery. We can send you a replacement right away with packaging to return your original product.
Express Replacement Service is included as a benefit of AppleCare+. The service delivers a replacement faster, but it doesn’t cover any costs for your product, such as replacement or late fees. After we get your original device, we’ll determine those fees. Meanwhile, you can start using your replacement Apple Watch.
