About purchases not billed through the App Store or Apple In-App Purchase
If you’ve paid for an app, a purchase within an app or a subscription outside of Apple’s ecosystem, contact the developer for billing support or a refund. Apple is unable to provide support for these purchases.
Purchases that aren’t supported by Apple
Apps purchased through alternative app distribution, and all purchases or subscriptions made within apps installed through alternative app distribution (where available)
Apps from the App Store with External Purchases (purchases that don't use Apple In-App Purchase)
Purchases within apps for your Mac when the app was installed from the web
Making purchases or sharing payment method information outside the App Store and Apple In-App Purchase comes with risk of new threats to security and privacy. You may have to share your payment information with additional parties, creating more opportunities for bad actors to steal sensitive financial information. There are risks of not receiving digital goods and services that you pay for, and it may be more difficult to find out how to cancel a subscription. Helpful App Store features – such as Report a Problem, Family Sharing, subscription management and Ask to Buy – are also not available for these transactions.
You can easily tell what purchases you’ve made that are supported by Apple. View your purchase history associated with your Apple Account. If an app in the European Union or Japan offers purchases outside the App Store ecosystem, a banner appears on that app’s page in the App Store.
For purchases made outside Apple In-App Purchase, Apple isn’t able to assist users with refunds, purchase history, subscription cancellation and management, violations of user data privacy, abuse or fraud and manipulation, in addition to issues that make the user experience less intuitive.
