Most templates include placeholder tables and text that you replace with your own content, making it easy to get started, You can also delete placeholders, and add new elements, such as images, text boxes, or charts.

Numbers for iCloud templates are designed for some of the more common types of spreadsheets, such as personal budgets, invoices, or school schedules.

Note: You can’t switch to a different template after you begin creating your spreadsheet.
