Om det inte hörs något ljud från datorhögtalarna
Kontrollera först att volymreglagen inte är neddragna till botten i den app du använder. Försök att identifiera exakt vad problemet är genom att prova att spela en annan ljudfil, CD eller DVD, eller spela filen eller skivan i en annan dator eller mediespelare. Prova sedan följande lösningar.
Om du försöker lyssna med datorns inbyggda högtalare
Koppla loss hörlurar och externa högtalare.
Välj Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar på datorn, klicka på Ljud och sedan på Ljud ut. Kontrollera att Inbyggda högtalare är markerat, att reglaget Volym ut inte är längst åt vänster och att kryssrutan Ljud av inte är markerad.
Om du försöker lyssna med externa högtalare
Se till att högtalarna är anslutna till ljudutgången på datorn eller bildskärmen och vid behov till en strömkälla. Se efter om det finns en strömbrytare och volymreglage på de externa högtalarna. Slå på högtalarna om det behövs och justera volymen på högtalarna.
Välj Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar på datorn, klicka på Ljud och sedan på Ljud ut. Om datorn bara har en ljudkontakt klickar du på popupmenyn Använd för, väljer Ljudutgång och ser till att de externa högtalarna är markerade.
Om du försöker lyssna med högtalare eller hörlurar som bara är anslutna till USB-porten på datorn eller bildskärmen väljer du Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar, klickar på Ljud och sedan på Ljud ut. Se till att de externa USB-högtalarna är markerade. Öppna Systeminformation, klicka på USB i avsnittet Maskinvara i sidofältet och kontrollera att dina högtalare visas i listan. Om de inte gör det provar du att koppla från högtalarna och ansluta dem igen.
Om de externa högtalare fortfarande inte fungerar läser du anvisningarna som följde med högtalarna.
Om du försöker lyssna med skärmens inbyggda högtalare
Koppla loss hörlurar och externa högtalare från datorn.
Kontrollera att bildskärmens kablar är anslutna till portarna på datorn.
Välj Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar, klicka på Ljud och sedan på Ljud ut. Kontrollera att Bildskärm är markerat i listan över enheter för ljud ut.
Om du försöker lyssna med en digitalmottagare
Om du använder datorns digitala utgång (finns inte på alla datorer) väljer du Apple-menyn > Systeminställningar, klickar på Ljud och sedan på Ljud ut. Kontrollera att Digital utgång är markerat i listan över enheter för ljud ut.
Se också efter att en digital ljudmottagare är ansluten till datorn med en optisk digital kabel och att mottagaren är inställd så att den kan ta emot digitalt ljud (läs informationen som följde med mottagaren).
Justera ljudvolymen på mottagaren Det går inte att justera ljudvolymen med datorns ljudreglage när digitalt ljud ut används.
