
Share shortcuts on Mac
You can share your shortcuts with friends through iCloud or as a file. You can add import questions to your shortcut before sharing to personalise the shortcut on your friend’s device.
Share a shortcut through iCloud
- In the Shortcuts app  on your Mac, double-click a shortcut. on your Mac, double-click a shortcut.
- In the shortcut editor, click  . .
- Do one of the following: - Share a shortcut using an app: Choose an app name from the pop-up menu, click Share, then use the app to send the link. 
- Share a shortcut as a link: Choose Copy iCloud Link from the pop-up menu, then click Share. - The link is copied to your Clipboard, ready for you to paste into an email, message or text document. 
 
When the recipient clicks the link, a description of the shortcut is displayed, and when the recipient clicks Get Shortcut, the shortcut is added to their shortcuts collection.
Share a shortcut from the shortcut editor as a file
- In the Shortcuts app  on your Mac, select a shortcut. on your Mac, select a shortcut.
- Choose File > Export. 
- Type a name for the file and choose a save location. 
- Click the For pop-up menu, then choose one of the following: - Anyone: Anyone can run your shortcut. Apple will receive a copy of your shortcut for validation (to prevent unauthorised tampering when you share it). 
- People Who Know Me: Only people who have you in their contacts will be able to run your shortcut. Your contact info will be included in the shortcut file. 
 
- Click Save. - The file is saved to the specified location, ready for sharing.
