HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container)

An updated version of HEIF (High Efficiency Image File Format) developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG). HEIC is a container format for storing still images and image sequences using the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) compression standard.
