If you haven’t received your Apple Account verification or password reset email
Not sure where your verification or reset email was sent? You can check all of the email addresses associated with your Apple Account or resend the email.
Search for the email
The email is sent from “Apple”, so you can search for it in your email account. If it isn’t in your inbox, check your folders.
If a spam filter or email rule moved the email, it may be in the Spam, Junk, Bin, Deleted Items or Archive folder. You may also have to change your email address settings to allow messages from email.apple.com.
Make sure you’re checking the correct email account
If you’re looking for a password reset email, check each email address associated with your Apple Account.
If you’re looking for a verification email, you can sign in to your Apple Account and review all of the email addresses you have on file, including the one you’re trying to verify. If the email address is spelt incorrectly, you can update it and send another verification email.
Resend the email
To resend a password reset email, repeat the steps to reset your password, and a new email will be sent to your Apple Account primary email address.
To resend the verification email, sign in to the Apple Account on the web. Click Resend next to the email address you want to verify, and you’ll receive another email at that address.
Make sure you’re receiving emails
If you’re not receiving any emails, you may need to contact your email service provider for help. Find out what to do if you can’t send or receive emails on your Mac or if iCloud Mail isn’t working.
