Find audio-described content in the iTunes Store

Learn how to find movies in the iTunes Store that have audio descriptions.

On your Mac or PC

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Click iTunes Store.
  3. Use the search bar in the upper-right corner to find a specific movie. Or type "AD," "audio description," "audio descriptions," "video description," or "video descriptions" to browse all movies with audio descriptions.
  4. On the right side of the window, click Movies to narrow your search.
  5. Click a movie to go to its description page.
  6. Under the price, look for an audio descriptions icon .

To see available audio description languages, scroll to the bottom of the movie's description page and look in the Languages section.

 

On your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

  1. Open the iTunes Store app.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Search to find a specific movie. Or type "AD," "audio description," "audio descriptions," "video description," or "video descriptions" to browse all available titles with audio descriptions.
  3. Tap a movie to go to its description page
  4. At the top of the movie's description page, look for an audio descriptions icon .

Scroll to the bottom of an item's product page and look in the Languages section for information about available audio description languages.

On your Apple TV

  1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
  2. Turn on Audio Descriptions.
  3. Open the iTunes Movies app.
  4. Browse to or search for a movie.
  5. On the movie's description page, look for an audio descriptions icon .

Swipe down on your remote to move to the bottom of an movie's description page. Look in the Languages and Accessibility sections for information about available audio description languages.

On your smart TV with the Apple TV app

  1. Open the Apple TV app.
  2. At the top of the screen, go to Movies. Or go to Search to find a specific movie.
  3. On the movie's description page, look for an audio descriptions icon .

Scroll to the bottom of the movie's description page and look in the Languages and Accessibility sections for information about available audio description languages.
