OS X Lion: Customize your font collections
The fonts in the Fonts window are grouped into collections of similar fonts, such as “fun” fonts and fixed-width fonts. You can change these collections, or create your own collections to make specific fonts easier to find.
- If the Fonts window isn’t already open, open an application, and then open the Fonts window. In most applications, you can open the Fonts window by choosing Format > Font > Show Fonts or Format > Show Fonts.
- Do any of the following:
To create a new font collection, click the Add button (+) below the Collection column, and then type a name for it.
To add a font to a collection, drag a font family or typeface to the collection in the Collection column.
To remove a font from a collection, drag it out of the Fonts window.
Removing a font from a collection doesn’t remove the font from your computer.
To delete a font collection, select it and click the Delete button (–) below the Collection column.
For more options for working with fonts, open Font Book.
