Searching help

Searching is the fastest way to find the help you need. Just type what you’re looking for in the search field to see a list of relevant topics.

If you’re connected to the Internet, you may also see articles from the product’s support site, if one is provided.

To search the help:

  1. In the search field, type a few words—one to three words is best—and press Return.

To select the search field anytime, press the Tab key.

To choose whether to search the current application’s help or all help, click the magnifying glass in the search field.

  2. In the search results that appear, review the topics to find those related to your search.

A brief summary of each topic appears below the topic name.

  3. To read the complete help topic, click it.

If you don’t see a topic that answers your question, try typing different words in the search field.
