Mount a disk that’s been ejected using Disk Utility

If you eject a disk, you can use Disk Utility to mount the disk so that it’s available in the Finder.

  1. Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in Launchpad.
  2. Select the disk in the list at left, and choose File > Mount

You can also make an external disk available by disconnecting it from your Mac and then reconnecting it.
