Set up a shared folder

By default, Bluetooth devices can browse your Public folder. You can change this setting to allow Bluetooth devices to browse other folders on your computer.

  1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Sharing.
  2. Select the Bluetooth Sharing checkbox.
  3. Choose Other from the “Folders others can browse” pop-up menu, and then select another folder.

To browse and exchange files with a device, the device must support the Bluetooth File Exchange Profile.
