View photo information

View a photo’s information

  1. Select the photo and tap Info button.

  2. To view a photo’s filename, tap the camera name.

    If you don’t see the map location of the photo, there’s no GPS information embedded in the photo, or Location Lookup is turned off (to turn it on, tap Gear (Action) button in Photos, Albums, or Projects view).

If you see an orange triangle, it means one of the following:

  • The photo is too large to be displayed on your device; iPhoto displays a scaled-down version of the photo.

  • The photo is a RAW file with a smaller JPEG file embedded; iPhoto displays the JPEG file.
