iBooks Author: Change default attributes for objects
Define a customized element or object as the default
-
Select an element or object and modify its attributes:
-
Text: Format text using paragraph, character, and list styles.
-
Text boxes: Adjust text size, color, alignment, and spacing.
-
Tables: Choose the number of rows and columns, line styles and colors, text styles, and shadows.
Note: A table contains distinct formatting areas, such as header row, header column, inside borders, and outside borders. To set a default table attribute, you must apply the attribute to an entire formatting area. For example, if you change the formatting of one cell in a header row, the change isn’t saved as part of the default table style; you need to use the same formatting for all cells in a header row.
