Invite people to an event in iCloud Calendar

You can invite people to any event you create in Calendar on iCloud.com and keep track of their responses. You can also update event invitations at any time and send revised notifications to invitees via email.

Add invitees to an event

  1. Double-click an event to open it (if it isn’t open already).

  2. Type one or more email addresses in the Invitees field.

  3. Click Send.

To add new invitees at any time, follow the above steps.

Edit or delete invitees

  1. Double-click the event to open it (if it isn’t open already).

  2. In the event window, do any of the following:

    • Change an email address: Move the pointer over the inviteeʼs name, then click the arrow to the right of the name. Choose Edit from the menu, then edit the email address.

    • Delete an invitee: Move the pointer over the inviteeʼs name, click the arrow to the right of the name, then choose Remove.

If you change an email address, an invitation is sent to that address when you click OK.

Invitation emails are sent to the people you invite. One of the following icons appears next to their names in the event:

Description

Green checkmark

The invitee has accepted.

Red x

The invitee has declined.

Amber question mark

The invitee might attend.

Gray question mark

The invitee hasn’t responded yet.
