Pages for iPhone: Print a document or envelope in Pages

Print a document or envelope in Pages

You can print a document or envelope from a printer set up to work with your iOS device. To learn about setting up a printer, see the instructions in the user guide for your device, or see the Apple Support article About AirPrint.

Print a document

These instructions assume that your printer is already set up to work with your device and turned on.

  1. Open the document, tap the More button, then tap Print.

  2. If no printer is selected, tap Select Printer, then choose one.

Your device automatically searches for any nearby AirPrint printers.

  3. Choose print options (page range, number of copies, and so on).

  4. Tap Print in the top-right corner.

Print an envelope

You can use the envelope templates in Pages to print standard-sized envelopes.

  1. In the document manager, tap the Create Document button at the top of the screen.

  2. Scroll down to the Envelopes section, then tap an envelope template.

  3. Tap placeholder text in the recipient address, then type your contact’s address.

You can add or delete lines as needed.

  4. Double-tap text in the return address, then type your address.

The return address is a text box. Drag the handles if you want to resize it.

  5. Tap the More button, then tap Print.

  6. If no printer is selected, tap Select Printer, then choose one.

Your device automatically searches for any nearby AirPrint printers.

  7. Tap Print.
