iCloud: Access your photos and videos on iCloud.com
You can use the Photos app on iCloud.com to view and share your photos and videos in iCloud Photo Library. You can email your photos to family and friends and share photos on Facebook.
View your photos and videos
The first time you use the Photos app on iCloud.com, it may take a while to show all your photos and videos. This is a one-time process and will continue, even if you leave the page.
Do one of the following:
Click Moments to see your photos and videos grouped by time and location.
Click Albums, then click an album to view its contents.
To view a photo or video full screen, double-click one.
To zoom a photo in or out, hold down the Option key (the Alt key on a Windows computer), then scroll up or down.
Add new photos and videos
Click Upload, then select the photos and videos you want to add.
Note: Photos must be in JPEG format to be uploaded via the Photos web app.
Click Choose to upload them to iCloud Photo Library.
Email photos and videos
Do one of the following:
Click Moments to see your photos and videos grouped by time and location.
Click Albums, then click an album to view its contents.
Select the photos and videos you want to email, click Share
, then choose Email.Photos opens a new email window and attaches your photos or videos.
Add recipients, a subject, and a message, then click Send in the upper-right corner of the email window.
Photos uses your iCloud email account to send photos and videos. Attachments are limited in size to a total of 20 MB per email.
Note: If you send an email with large photos and videos attached, it might be returned by the recipient’s email service because your email exceeds the size limit set by that email service. You can try sending the photos and videos in multiple email messages.
Share photos on Facebook
Do one of the following:
Click Moments to see your photos grouped by time and location.
Click Albums, then click an album to view its contents.
Double-click a photo to open it individually.
When you open a photo individually to share, you don’t have to select it for sharing. Skip to step 4.
Click Select Photos, then select the photos you want to post.
Click the Share button
, then choose Facebook.If asked, do either of the following:
If a message says that iCloud needs permission to share to Facebook: Click Continue, then click Okay.
If a message says that you need to log in to Facebook: Click Continue, type your Facebook account user name and password, then click Log in.
In the Facebook dialog, do any of the following:
Add a comment (optional): If you want, type a comment to accompany the photos.
Choose who can view the photos: Click the Privacy setting pop-up menu at the top right, then choose an option.
Add the photos to an album: Click the Album pop-up menu, then choose an album to hold the photos.
Click Post.
Download photos or videos to your computer
Do one of the following:
Click Moments to see your photos or videos grouped by time and location.
Click Albums, then click an album to view its contents.
Click Select Photos.
Select the photos or videos you want to download, then click Download.
Tip: To select all the photos in a moment, position the pointer over the moment’s title, then click Select Moment.
The largest available version of each photo and video you select is saved in your Downloads folder on your computer (or other folder specified in your web browser’s preference or options settings).
Navigate to the location where you want the selection, then click Choose.
Delete photos or videos
Click Moments to see your photos or videos grouped by time and location.
Click Select Photos.
Select the photos or videos you want to remove, then click Delete.
Deleted photos and videos are placed in the Recently Deleted album, where they remain for 30 days. After that time, items are permanently removed from all your devices set up for iCloud Photo Library.
You can remove items from your iOS device or Mac before the 30-day time period is up. For instructions on removing them from your iOS device, see Use iCloud Photo Library on your iOS device. Recover deleted photos and videos
You can recover photos and videos you deleted in the last 30 days.
Click Albums, then select the Recently Deleted album to view its contents.
Click Select Photos, then do one of the following:
Click Recover All.
Select the photos or videos you want to recover, then click Recover.
