iCloud: Find My Friends overview
With Find My Friends, you, your family, and friends can share locations and follow each other using your iOS devices. After you and your friends share your locations and accept the follow requests, you can use Find My Friends to locate your friends on a map.
When you sign in to iCloud.com, you’re automatically signed in to Find My Friends with the same Apple ID you use for iCloud. If you previously used a different Apple ID with Find My Friends, you can transfer the friends from that Apple ID to the one you use for iCloud.
Note: If you joined Family Sharing and your family members are sharing their location with you, your family members are added automatically to Find My Friends and are marked as favorites. For more information, see the Apple Support article Family Sharing.
