View campaign performance data

You can view performance data for any campaign that’s running, paused, or completed. You can view data for the overall campaign, or for individual lines and ads. Depending on the type of ad and destination, you can also view detailed data about device types, conversions, and content views.

View overall performance data for a campaign

  1. In the Dashboard, click any of the campaign’s statistics.

    The campaign data page appears, with the Summary pane selected. The Summary pane contains the cumulative data for the campaign, in both graph and table formats.

  2. To change how the data is displayed in the graph, do either of the following:

    • Display data for a different metric: Choose a metric from the Show pop-up menu.

    • Display data for two metrics at the same time: Choose one metric from the Show pop-up menu, and choose the other metric from the Overlay pop-up menu.

      The first metric is displayed as a bar graph, and the second metric is displayed as a line graph. To remove the second metric from the graph, click Clear Overlay.

View line, ad, or device data for a campaign

  1. In the Dashboard, click any of the campaign’s statistics.

  2. Click Lines, Ads, or Devices.

    Data is displayed in both graph and table formats. The graph displays the cumulative performance data for all lines, ads, or devices in the campaign. The table displays the data for each individual line, ad, or device.

  3. To change how data is displayed in the graph, do either of the following:

    • Display data for a different metric: Choose a metric from the Show pop-up menu.

    • Display or hide data for a line, ad, or device: Select or deselect the checkbox for the line, ad, or device in the table below the graph. You can display data for up to ten items at a time.

  4. To edit a line or ad, click the Action menu Gear icon next to the line or ad’s name in the table below the graph, and choose Edit. Make your changes, then click Done.

View data for an individual line or ad

  1. In the Dashboard, click any of the campaign’s statistics.

  2. Click Lines or Ads.

  3. Click the name of the line or ad in the table below the graph.

    The line or ad data page appears, with the Summary pane selected. The Summary pane contains the cumulative data for the line or ad, in both graph and table formats.

  4. To change how the data is displayed in the graph, do either of the following:

    • Display data for a different metric: Choose a metric from the Show pop-up menu.

    • Display data for two metrics at the same time: Choose one metric from the Show pop-up menu, and choose the other metric from the Overlay pop-up menu.

      The first metric is displayed as a bar graph, and the second metric is displayed as a line graph. To remove the second metric from the graph, click Clear Overlay.

  5. Do any of the following:

    • When viewing line data:

      • View data for all ads assigned to the line: Click Ads.

      • View data about conversions achieved by the line: Click Conversions.

      • View line data by device type: Click Devices.

      • Edit an ad assigned to the line: Click Ads, click the Action menu Gear icon next to the ad’s name in the table below the graph, and choose Edit. Make your changes, then click Done.

    • When viewing ad data:

      • View data for all lines assigned to the ad: Click Lines.

      • View data about conversions achieved by the ad: Click Conversions.

      • View data about content views for the ad: Click Content Views.

      • Edit a line assigned to the ad: Click Lines, click the Action menu Gear icon next to the line’s name in the table below the graph, and choose Edit. Make your changes, then click Done.

Tip:   To return directly to overall campaign data, click Campaign near the top left of the iAd Workbench window.

To view data for a specific time period, use the date fields or choose a time period from the pop-up menu.

Note:   Reporting for some metrics might be delayed, and data displayed might be inaccurate until all metrics are updated. To ensure the most accurate data, allow at least an hour after specifying your criteria for all updates to finish.
