iAd Workbench: View and edit your campaigns

View and edit your campaigns

You can monitor all your iAd campaigns and change their settings from the Dashboard.

To view a campaign’s summary, click the campaign icon.

Edit campaign settings and ads

You can change the campaign name, add or edit lines, and add or edit ads.

  1. In the Dashboard, click the campaign’s Action menu Gear icon and choose Edit.

  2. Do any of the following:

    • Change the campaign name: Click the Action menu Gear icon to the right of the app icon and choose Edit, type a new name, and click Done.

    • Edit a line: Click the Action menu Gear icon for the line and choose Edit, make your changes, and click Done.

Important:   If a line targets fewer than 6,000 users, the line won’t run and can’t be saved.
    • Edit an ad: Click the Action menu Gear icon for the ad and choose Edit, make your changes, and click Done.

    • Create additional lines: Click Create Line and follow the instructions for creating a new campaign line.

    • Create or upload a new ad: Click Create Ad and follow the instructions for creating or uploading ads.

  3. When you’re done, click Done or Submit.

You can’t change the campaign’s app, product, bid type, or targeting option (auto or manual).

Pause or resume a campaign

Do one of the following:

Pause a campaign: Click the campaign’s Action menu Gear icon and choose Pause, and click Yes.

Resume a paused campaign: Click the campaign’s Action menu Gear icon and choose Activate.

Search or browse for a campaign

To search for a campaign, type its name in the Search field.

As you type, a list of matching campaigns appears.

You can also browse your campaigns by whether they’re running or not, or have ended. If a campaign is not running, you can browse it by these additional subcategories:

  • New: You’ve saved the campaign, but haven’t submitted it yet for approval. You might also need to add additional information.

  • Pending: You’ve submitted the campaign, but it hasn’t been approved yet.

  • Ready: Your campaign was approved, but it hasn’t started running yet.

  • Not Ready: You’ve submitted the campaign, but none of your ads were approved by iAd, or your campaign includes incomplete lines.

  • Paused: The campaign was paused after it started running.

  • Suspended: Your account has been suspended, either because of nonpayment, or because you have no valid credit card on file.

Note:   You can’t reduce a line’s budget unless the line has been inactive for at least 30 minutes.

To view details about a campaign’s performance, click any of its statistics in the Dashboard.
