Contacts (El Capitan): Send email from Contacts
Create a new email message addressed to a group, right from Contacts.
Do one of the following
Control-click a group, then choose Send Email from the shortcut menu.
Your default email app opens with an email addressed to the contacts you selected. For information about the Mail app, see Mail Overview.
Create an email, then enter the group name.
Drag the group to the To field in your email.
