OS X El Capitan: Mail sidebar
The Mail sidebar lists mailboxes, folders, and flagged items for the email accounts you’re using in Mail.
Do any of the following:
- Show or hide the sidebar:Click the sidebar icon in the Favorites bar or in the Mail toolbar.
- Resize the sidebar:Drag the sidebar’s separator left or right. If you drag it all the way to the left, the sidebar is hidden.
- Adjust the size of icons in the sidebar:Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click General, then select a sidebar icon size.
If you don’t see expected mailboxes or folders in the sidebar, choose Mail > Preferences > Accounts, click Account Information, then make sure your accounts are enabled.
