OS X El Capitan: Input menu

Input menu

The Input menu appears in the menu bar only if you enable at least one input source in Keyboard preferences. The Input menu is identified by a flag or character that represents the input source currently in use. For example, a French flag is shown when a French input source is in use. The Input menu contains commands for the current input source, and provides quick access to its preferences and help.
