GarageBand ‘11: Add web links

Add web links

You can add web links, called URLs, to marker regions in a podcast project, or to markers in a movie project. When others play the project in iTunes or iDVD, they can click the URLs to open the linked pages in their web browsers.

You can also give each URL a title. When you add a URL title, the title appears in the Album Artwork window in iTunes, but clicking the title opens the webpage for the URL in your browser.

To add a URL and URL title:

  1. Double-click the podcast track to show the marker list in the editor.

  2. In the editor, click the placeholder text in the URL column for the marker region or marker, then type (or paste) the URL.

  3. To give the URL a title, click the placeholder text in the URL Title column, then type a title.
