Find My Friends: Set restrictions
Turn on iOS Restrictions so that anyone who uses the device can’t do the following:
Accept or reject new requests to be followed.
Share the device’s location with a new friend or remove existing friends.
Hide from followers.
For example, if you’re a parent, you can limit the people who follow your child’s location.
On the device you want to restrict, tap Find My Friends.
If you want, share your location or remove followers now, because you can’t after you restrict the device.
If you’re a parent restricting your child’s device, you might want to share your child’s location with yourself, for example.
Press the Home button on the device to go to the Home screen.
Go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Enable Restrictions (only if you don’t have any restrictions enabled).
Enter a passcode to protect your restriction settings (if one isn’t already set). To change restriction settings, you need to enter the passcode. Don’t use the passcode your child uses to unlock the device.
Tap Share My Location below Privacy, then tap Don’t Allow Changes.
