Change how your books look

Unlike a physical book, you can change the appearance of your iBooks. For example, you can choose to see one or two pages at a time or to view your books in full screen. Some books also let you change the font, page color, and more.

Change the page view: Open the book, then choose View > Single Page or Two Pages.

You can also make the book’s window smaller or larger until you see one or two pages (just drag the sides).

Change the font: Move the pointer to the top of the book, click the Fonts button , then choose an option under Book Font.

If the Fonts button isn’t available, you can’t change the book’s font.

Change the page color: Move the pointer to the top of the book, click the Fonts button, then choose White, Sepia, Gray, or Night.

If the page color options aren’t available, you can’t change the book’s page color.

Change paragraph alignment: Choose iBooks > Preferences, click General, then select “Let lines break naturally” or “Justify text.”

Change hyphenation: Choose iBooks > Preferences, click General, then select or deselect “Auto-hyphenate words.”
