Store draft messages on the server |
Draft messages stored on the mail server are available when you use your account on other computers. This option is available only for IMAP and Exchange accounts. |

Store sent messages on the server |
Sent messages stored on the mail server are available when you use your account on other computers. This option is available only for IMAP and Exchange accounts. |

Delete sent messages when |
Mail automatically deletes sent messages at the specified time. |

Store junk messages on the server |
Keep junk messages you receive on the mail server. Select this option on each Mac where you’ll use your account, to avoid having two Junk mailboxes in the Mail sidebar. This option is available only for IMAP and Exchange accounts. |

Delete junk messages when |
Mail automatically deletes junk messages at the specified time. Select a setting other than Never to avoid exceeding storage limits set by your account provider. |

Move deleted messages to the Trash mailbox |
If you deselect this option, deleted messages may temporarily remain in the mailbox, but are hidden or dimmed. This option is available only for POP and IMAP accounts. |

Permanently erase deleted messages when |
Mail automatically erases deleted messages at the specified time. Select a setting other than Never to avoid exceeding storage limits set by your account provider. If your account provider sets up the server to delete older messages, the messages are deleted regardless of how you set this option. |
